Arnarker lava cave

Arnarker lava cave extends over five hundred meters and is known for its massive size and high ceilings. During winter and spring, ice formations such as stalactites and stalagmites appear inside, creating a magical atmosphere. Access to the cave is via a metal ladder through a ground opening. There is no artificial lighting inside, so strong flashlights and helmets are required for exploration. The name Arnarker translates as "Eagle's Bowl," connected to old legends about nesting birds.
