Raufarholshellir Lava Cave

Raufarholshellir Lava Cave reaches up to thirty meters wide and ten meters high. The cave entrance has natural openings in the ceiling, allowing sunlight to create patterns on the solidified lava. In winter, ice stalagmites form under these openings, creating a scene reminiscent of a science fiction set.
