Cala Gat Beach

About the place
Cala Gat is a compact cove, around 40 metres of fine golden sand tucked between pine-covered cliffs at the eastern edge of Cala Ratjada, a short walk from the resort's centre and harbour. The water is clear and usually calm, and the rocky outcrops on either side make it one of the better easy-access spots for snorkeling in the area. There is a small beach bar for drinks and a seasonal lifeguard, plus sun loungers for rent and showers. Because the cove is small, it fills up quickly on summer days, so it is worth arriving early or visiting late in the afternoon.
