Colomers Lakes Hike begins near Estanh Major, where an early twentieth century dam marks the meeting of engineering and raw alpine nature. The trail ascends gradually, revealing a stepped system of lakes arranged like giant stone terraces. Granite slopes, sparse alpine flowers, and still water surfaces define the calm and severe character of the landscape.
