Colomers Plan Lake

Plan de Colomèrs Lake is a peaceful body of water nestled in a flat stone basin high in the mountains. It is surrounded by granite rocks and mountain grasses, creating a feeling of absolute silence. High, steep cliffs rise around the water like the walls of a massive fortress protecting this "inner courtyard." Beyond the calm surface of the lake lies a sharp drop-off, where giant stone steps descend deep into the gorges below. There are no signs of civilization here, so the place has preserved the spirit of old-school classical mountaineering and its pristine mountain beauty.
