Museum of Malvasía

About the place
The Museum of Malvasía is a unique space located in the town of Icod de los Vinos on the island of Tenerife. This museum is dedicated to the winemaking heritage of the Canary Islands, especially to the renowned Malvasía grape variety. Visitors can not only learn about the history of winemaking but also take part in tastings, culinary courses, and workshops on preparing traditional Canarian “mojo” sauces. The museum combines gastronomy with culture — the grapes grown in the island’s volcanic soil, the music, tastings, and warm atmosphere together create a true journey into the world of flavors, memories, and traditions.
