Paredão Viewpoints

The Paredão viewpoints are located in the Montado do Paredão area, on the road connecting the Curral das Freiras valley with the Pico do Areeiro peak on Madeira Island. They feature two panoramic platforms — one side offers views of the Curral das Freiras valley, while the other overlooks the city of Funchal and the coastline. The viewpoints are easily accessible by car and are even partially adapted for visitors with reduced mobility. It’s an ideal spot for photos above the clouds, with mountainous outlines and vast natural landscapes.
