Playa del Tachero
About the place
Playa del Tachero is a remote pebble beach on the northeast of Tenerife, in the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Surrounded by cliffs and steep slopes, the beach is about 800 m long and 30 m wide, covered with large pebbles and gravel. It has no infrastructure or services, and strong waves and currents make swimming potentially risky. It’s an ideal spot for nature lovers seeking peace and solitude, but visitors should be prepared for challenging access and self-organized recreation.
