Presa de Olinches

About the place
Presa de Olinches is a historic dam constructed to divert water through a narrow rock-carved channel to the old Olinches hydro plant. The dam sits in a dramatic canyon section with limestone walls rising steeply on both sides. Fern-covered cliffs and mossy stones frame the calm pools and small waterfalls. A narrow tunnel carved in rock provides access, adding a sense of adventure to the visit. The site perfectly blends past engineering with wild nature, forming a serene and secluded spot in the canyon.
