Aguas Tuertas Dolmen

About the place
Aguas Tuertas Dolmen is a prehistoric stone tomb situated at the entrance of a vast mountain meadow. The monument consists of several large upright slabs that support a heavy capstone, though it is partially collapsed today. It occupies a strategic position overlooking the famous river meanders that give the valley its name. Surrounding peaks and red sandstone formations provide a magnificent natural backdrop to this archaeological relic. Hikers often visit this site while traversing the high-altitude trails of the Western Valleys Natural Park.
