Cavaca Trail
About the place
The Cavaca Trail is a demanding route of approximately 5.3 km that starts and ends in the Seixal area. The maximum altitude on the route is around 1,204 m, the minimum is 356 m, and the hike takes about 2 h 30 min to 3 h. The trail is unmarked and features uneven, steep terrain — suitable only for experienced hikers. Along the way, you’ll enjoy natural landscapes, and the final section leads to the legendary Fanal area.
