About the place
Chão dos Louros Trail (PR22) is an easy circular route about 1.9 km long in the heart of Madeira’s laurel forest. During the walk, you pass through a green area and reach a viewpoint overlooking the vast São Vicente valley. The trail is suitable for most hikers and takes about 45 minutes at a relaxed pace, starting and ending at Chão dos Louros park.
