Jucar Cofrentes Pier is located on the calm waters of the Cortes de Pallas reservoir, at the entrance to the Jucar River canyon system. The river cuts through massive limestone cliffs rising hundreds of meters above the water surface. These narrow gorges can only be fully appreciated from the river, creating a rare sense of isolation and scale. The slow movement of the boat emphasizes the monumental geometry of the canyon walls. The landscape evokes an almost prehistoric atmosphere shaped by erosion and deep geological time.
