Lo Entremon Gorge

About the place
Lo Entremon Gorge is carved in thick limestone layers and connects Mediano and El Grado reservoirs. The gorge’s name means “between worlds,” reflecting its narrow passage framed by towering cliffs. Walking trails are carved directly into the rock, offering close views of the turquoise river below. The area serves as an important bird sanctuary with griffons and vultures nesting along the cliffs. Historic routes once linked the regions of Sobrarbe and Ribagorza through this dramatic canyon.
