Piedrafita Natural Arch

About the place
Piedrafita Natural Arch is a remarkable geological formation shaped by erosion along a tectonic fault in the Sierra Partacua range. Located at an altitude of about nineteen hundred meters, the arch serves as a natural viewpoint over the Tena Valley. The route passes near the mountain lake Piedrafita, surrounded by alpine meadows and rocky slopes. The massive limestone walls of Pena Telera rise nearby, enhancing the sense of scale and vertical power. Seen through the arch opening, sky and valley merge into a constantly changing natural frame.
