Pou Clar

Pou Clar is a natural river landscape located near the source of the Clariano River in the Valencia region. Over thousands of years water carved deep circular basins into the limestone riverbed, creating a unique cascade system. Vertical riverbanks covered with pine trees and oleanders enclose the site and enhance its secluded character. The extreme clarity of the water makes the stone bowls look like glass vessels filled with light. This natural ensemble creates an almost alien atmosphere shaped by water erosion and raw geology.
