Barranc del Cint Canyon is a deep limestone gorge shaped by millions of years of erosion at the edge of Mariola Natural Park. The trail follows the canyon floor, where sheer rock walls rise more than one hundred meters above the path. The surrounding landscape is quiet and rugged, with narrowing rock faces that almost close overhead. The dramatic scale of the canyon amplifies every sound, turning footsteps into echoes within stone. This natural gateway reveals the raw geological power that defines the mountains near Alcoy.
