About the place
Bolafjall Mountain rises 638 meters above Bolungarvik. In 2022, a unique viewing platform was opened, cantilevered over the cliff edge. The platform offers breathtaking views of Isafjardardjup fjord, Hornstrandir Nature Reserve, and the Greenland Sea. On clear days, even the coast of Greenland can be seen. The road to the summit is steep and only open in summer, making the ascent an exciting Arctic adventure.
