Fosslaug Geothermic Pool is a natural hot tub constructed from stones and turf, blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The proximity to Reykjafoss waterfall provides a rare combination of calm warmth and roaring cold power. The water temperature is ideal for relaxing, around 40°C. The surrounding landscape is quiet and stark: wide river valleys and endless fields. This otherworldly spot combines the sound of rushing water with the gentle steam rising from the pool. There are no changing cabins, but flat stones at the shore make it easy to get in and out.
