Lake Ibon de Brazato

Lake Ibon de Brazato is a deep rocky basin surrounded by granite peaks. The highlight of the spot is the stunning view from its shores toward the highest summits of the French Pyrenees. Unlike many of the region's smaller lakes, Brazato stands out due to its size and a massive dam built to regulate water resources, which integrates smoothly into the landscape. The ascent to the lake follows a scenic stretch of the GR11 trail, offering travelers classic alpine scenery with scree slopes and crystal-clear water. The sense of grandeur and vastness makes this "ibón" (lake) a must-visit destination in the Tena Valley.
