Lomagnupur Scenic Spot is located on the southern coast of Iceland above the Skeidararsandur black sand plains. The basalt cliff rises 688 meters and resembles an impregnable fortress. In clear weather, the mountain reflects perfectly in small pools at its base, creating symmetrical views. According to Icelandic folklore, the site is home to one of the legendary “guardian spirits” protecting the southern coast.
