Reynisfjara Viewpoint

About the place
This clifftop viewpoint on the western side of Reynisfjara gives the classic view from above: the long black beach, the Reynisdrangar sea stacks and the open Atlantic. You take it in without walking down onto the wave-swept sand. Short paths follow the grassy edge, and because most people drive straight to the beach car park, it stays calm. In summer, puffins and other seabirds nest on the ledges, often close to the path.
