Stokksnes combines the raw power of the ocean with the silent beauty of volcanic dunes. The black sand dunes are covered with golden and green grass, creating a striking contrast. During high tide, shallow water forms a mirror reflecting Vestrahorn. Driftwood is scattered along the shore, adding visual interest. Historical landmarks include an old NATO radar station and a Viking settlement reconstruction.
