Vereda do Pico Ruivo Trail
About the place
The PR 1.2 trail leads from Achada do Teixeira plateau to Pico Ruivo (1862 m). The route is about 2.8 km one way (5.6 km round trip) and takes around 1.5 hours. Hikers enjoy stunning views of mountains, deep valleys, clouds, and the island’s highest peak.
