Bjarnarfoss Waterfall

Bjarnarfoss drops from the edge of basalt formations, forming a distinctive two-tier waterfall. The upper stream falls from a narrow rocky opening, while the lower cascade spreads into a wider fan. The surrounding slopes turn green in summer and hold patches of snow in winter. A short path leads to a lower viewpoint with dramatic perspectives. The area is exposed to coastal winds, so weather conditions shift quickly.
