Brimketill
About the place
Brimketill is carved into black lava rock and shaped almost perfectly round. Despite appearing calm from afar, the ocean water crashes violently into the pool. Legends tell that a giantess named Oddny once bathed and washed clothes here at night. A viewing platform allows visitors to safely watch the power of the waves. The surrounding coastal boulder field and cliffs provide homes for many seabirds, while sea eagles soar above.
