Bruarfoss Waterfall

Bruarfoss is fed by the clear spring-fed Brúará river. The 7 km round-trip trail follows the river through open landscapes. Hikers pass two smaller waterfalls — Hlauptungufoss and Midfoss — on the way. The deep blue color is caused by mineral-rich glacial sources.
