FlyOver Iceland

About the place
FlyOver Iceland is a flight-ride simulator that pairs a large spherical screen with motion seats. The suspended seats tilt and sway in sync with the footage, while the system adds wind, mist and scent. The ride sweeps over Iceland's canyons, waterfalls and lupine fields as if from the air. Before the flight, a short pre-show introduces Icelandic folklore, guided by the troll Su Vitra, an 800-year-old character who sets up the country's history and landscape. It sits on the Grandi harbor front, an easy walk from central Reykjavik.
