Gervidalsárfoss is a run of cascades stepping down a green gorge in Ísafjarðardjúp, in the quiet heart of Iceland's Westfjords. The lowest falls sit right by the road; the rest reveal themselves as you climb a faint path up the rocks. There is no fee, no crowd and nothing built here — a wild roadside stop that its regulars would rather keep to themselves.
