Bunarfoss Waterfall

Bunárfoss spills down the wooded slopes of Tungudalur, a green valley a few kilometres west of Ísafjörður that also holds the town campsite and golf course. It is not one big drop but a series of cascades along the Buná stream, with a marked trail beside them — about ten to fifteen minutes to the lower falls, steeper if you carry on towards the top and its fjord views. With parking at the trailhead and the centre minutes away, it makes an easy leg-stretch rather than a headline sight.
