Hvítserkur Waterfall

About the place
Hvítserkur is a small waterfall on the Fitjaá river in West Iceland, dropping through the dark rock of the Hvítserksgljúfur gully well off the usual routes. It shares a name with the far better-known sea stack on the Vatnsnes peninsula in the north, and nothing else. People come here for the emptiness: the drive and the trailless descent filter out almost everyone.
