Krauma Spa Center

About the place
Krauma sits beside Deildartunguhver, the spring that pushes out around 180 litres of near-boiling water every second. That water is cooled to bathing temperature and fed into the baths: five warm pools and one cold plunge. There is no chlorine, because the constant flow keeps the water fresh. Add two saunas, a fireside relaxation room and a restaurant looking over the Reykholtsdalur valley — a calm, grown-up alternative to Iceland's busier lagoons.
