Lindarbakki
About the place
Lindarbakki is a historic house in Borgarfjordur-Eystri, built in 1899. The red walls and well-maintained turf roof make it a recognizable landmark. Although it is a private summer residence, its fairy-tale appearance attracts travelers. It is one of the few preserved turf houses still in excellent condition. The house harmoniously blends with the surrounding mountains and coastline.
