Oxarfjordur – point of view

Oxarfjordur viewpoint is located on the northern coast of Iceland. The viewpoint opens up a majestic panorama of the fjord and the Jokulsaa-a-Fjollum river delta. Visitors can observe the results of massive glacial floods that shaped the Sandur plain. Below stretch endless black sands intersected by silvery water channels.
