Seal Lookout

Seal Lookout is located on the shore of Skotufjord in the Westfjords. The site is known for seal colonies resting on coastal rocks. Visitors can also see Litlibair, a historic turf-roofed farm built in 1895. Information panels provide details about marine mammals and local history. The calm fjord waters and steep surrounding mountains create a peaceful atmosphere typical of Iceland’s remote regions.
