Storasula
About the place
Storasula is a conical mountain located north of the Myrdalsjokull glacier. Its slopes are covered with bright green moss, contrasting with surrounding black lava fields. The mountain serves as a landmark for travelers in the Thorsmork area. Glacial rivers and the highland landscape enhance its dramatic presence. Storasula is one of the most recognizable peaks for hikers on the Laugavegur trail.
