Talknafjordur Campsite
About the place
The municipal campsite of Tálknafjörður sits in a sheltered, tree-ringed field beside the village's heated swimming pool, which has hot tubs, a sauna and a waterslide, plus a view over the fjord. A five-minute drive away are the free Pollurinn hot pools, natural and open around the clock. It runs in summer only, takes drop-ins with no booking, has solid facilities and accepts the Camping Card — an easy overnight on a Westfjords road trip.
