Pollurinn Hot Pool

Pollurinn is a delightful complex of small thermal baths located on a hillside in Talknafjordur, Westfjords. Three pools with different water temperatures are integrated directly into the landscape. The surrounding landscape is quiet and stark, offering panoramic views of the calm waters of Talknafjordur and steep mountain slopes. It is an ideal alien-like landscape, where steam gently wraps the rugged cliffs of the Westfjords. The complex, despite its modest name, includes changing rooms and a shower. Visitors can spend hours observing seabirds nesting on coastal cliffs while enjoying the tranquility of one of Iceland’s least populated regions.
