Kerlingarfoss Waterfall
About the place
Kerlingarfoss is a slim waterfall that steps down a low cliff on the north coast of Snæfellsnes, between Ólafsvík and Rif. Its wider, better-known neighbour Svöðufoss stands a few hundred metres below on the same gravel road, and one drive covers both. A short walk across open pasture, with the coast in view, ends almost at the foot of the falls.
