Ketubjorg Cliffs

About the place
Ketubjorg Cliffs are impressive basalt cliffs rising above the sea on the eastern shore of Skaga Fjord. A powerful waterfall drops from the cliff edge directly into the ocean. Vertical basalt columns form a geometric pattern, reflecting the region’s volcanic past. From the coast, visitors can view Drangey Island and the wide expanse of the Greenland Sea. The cliffs are a refuge for seabirds, offering nesting sites in their vertical crevices.
