Ketubjorg Waterfall

Ketubjorg Waterfall

About the place

Ketubjörg Waterfall sits on the Skagi peninsula in northwest Iceland, off Route 745. A stream reaches the edge of the headland and pours straight off the clifftop toward the sea, not into a river or gorge. It's modest beside Iceland's famous falls, but memorable for where it lands — in the surf below. It's the quieter second half of the Ketubjörg cliff stop, reached from a marked fence crossing back toward the road.
