Laki Viewpoint

aki Viewpoint is located at the center of the Laki crater system, formed during the massive 1783 eruption. The viewpoint offers surreal views of a 25-kilometer fissure covered in bright green moss contrasting with black lava. The chain of 135 craters stretches across the landscape, creating a dramatic scene. Distant glaciers, including Vatnajokull and Myrdalsjokull, are visible from the summit.
