Laugardalslaug

Laugardalslaug is the biggest and busiest of Reykjavík's neighbourhood pools, in the Laugardalur valley. Geothermal water keeps it warm year-round: there's an indoor pool, a children's pool with its own slide, and a ring of hot pots where locals soak and talk through every season. It opens early, closes late and costs little. Everyone showers naked with soap before getting in — learn that rule first.
