Hvammsvik Hot Springs

Hvammsvík sits on the shore of Hvalfjörður, a fjord north of Reykjavík. Eight pools are built right into the beach, ranging from about 10°C by the sea to 42°C in the oldest. Between soaks, guests wade into the fjord for a cold dip, and guided cold-water swims run on the programme. The place draws steady comparison with the Blue Lagoon and Sky Lagoon: fewer crowds, less polish, more open fjord.
