Escorca

Grey limestone summits fill the skyline across Escorca, a municipality of 139 km² in the Serra de Tramuntana of northwest Mallorca. Four of its peaks pass 1,000 metres: Puig Major at 1,445 m, the highest on the island, then Puig de Massanella at 1,364 m, Puig Tomir at 1,102 m and Puig Roig at 1,003 m. Only 199 people live here. The mountains are the reason to come.
