Fardagafoss Waterfall
About the place
Fardagafoss Waterfall plunges from a high basalt cliff into a deep gorge carved by centuries of erosion. The surrounding rock walls emphasize the height and narrow shape of the cascade. A marked trail leads close to the waterfall, allowing views from different angles. In good conditions, visitors can approach the base and feel the spray from the falling water.
