Seljalandsfoss Waterfall

About the place
Seljalandsfoss Waterfall drops from a high cliff formed by an ancient coastline. The water falls in a narrow vertical stream directly in front of a shallow cave. A maintained path allows visitors to walk behind the cascade when conditions permit. The waterfall is easily accessible from the Ring Road and nearby parking area. Seljalandsfoss is especially popular for photography at sunset.
