National Parks

A National Park is a specially protected natural area created to preserve unique natural landscapes, biodiversity, rare species of plants and animals, as well as natural ecosystems in their original state. National parks combine conservation, recreational, scientific, and educational functions. They are open to visitors, but all activities within their territory are strictly regulated: construction is limited, and pollution, hunting, and uncontrolled use of natural resources are prohibited.
